‘A Sanctuary’ – a short film by Toby Peters
‘Street Voices is a band with a difference. It has a lively, mainly acoustic sound, meets regularly for practise, and is available for gigs large and small.
Its members are the vulnerably housed, people living in homeless hostels, and other members of the street community in Cambridge UK. The group provides an opportunity for people of any level of experience to bring their musical talents or just have a go, creating a lively musical mix that comes straight from the heart.’
Visit their Website here.
Film Student Steve Bigglestone created this film as a university dissertation project. He wanted to investigate how art can help the homeless community in England.
